Green coating in the tongue--immediate action

Last Tuesday, one customer visited the clinic complaining about radiating dull and occasionally sharp pain from right rib case to the back for two weeks. The hospital checkout did not identify any abnormity. She had ovary removal and was a very emotional character. Most importantly, her tongue was yellow with green coating and pulse was tight and waving. We presumed it was the bile playing up. The worst scenario might be a stone in the gallbladder. Therefore, we issued a Chinese herbal pills for her to take. By Saturday when she revisited all symptoms almost disappeared. Her tongue changed to light pink with slightly yellow coating.
